I installed this and it seemed to work but eventually water and ice build up was back. The solution was to open the rear bottom panel of the fridge and clean the drain pipe which was clogged due to dust etc. Guess this was a completely unnecessary purchase!

Absolutely amazing value and worked like a charm! Install wasn't overly easy, but that's not this part's fault - it's the way the fridge is built. Once it's deiced and dried out, go ahead and disassemble and install. if you do it while the refrigerator is still cold, you run the risk of cracking panels. Ours was completely iced over and the drain hole took a while to thaw, even with a hair dryer. However, once the part was in, it was pretty straightforward to put back together. Our fridge has been ice and leak free (under the deli drawer) free for two + months now. So grateful for this little contraption/solution!

This product was used to correct a known flaw with Samsung fridge. Lots of youtube videos to direct install. Installation of product was fairly straight forward. Fridge has been excess water free for a few weeks now!
