Needed it for a small home office and it gave me the ability to use the laptop and a second screen without taking up too much room on my desk. Plug and play.

...except a small cut on the power cord. No marks or scratches in evidence. Works flawlessly. Paired with HP docking station for a great computer!!

Product shipped was well packed and protected Easy to install and I am pretty please with the quality of the products. I will strongly recommend that product.

This has been purchased for an HP laptop, it has four USB ports, a serial port for the monitor and a couple of additional ones not currently in use. Docking is really straight forward and it has been the primary power source for several weeks with out interruption so none of the power issues identified in other reviews were experienced. The docking station was good value for money, arrived promptly and was reasonably packaged, all a plus in my book. The laptop drops neatly into two prongs and then locks into position with a charging button to the right side, simple and easy to use.Definitely worth the cash for the convenience.

Dock works and is what I needed. However, when I received the package only part of the power cord was included. I called and Amazon was able to connect me to HP support. HP gave me the product number of the power cord part I needed buy told me since I bought it through Amazon instead of directly from HP I would have to purchase the cord that was left out myself. Thankfully Amazon corrected this issue! However, use caution when buying from this seller. If items are left out, they will not correct it.
