Provides good sun coverage--shade over the ears as well, many hats don't. Air vents on top keep the head cool.

The stitching was not very good. There were two loose ends on the brim of the cap. Obviously not made in the USA.

This hat is great. Super lightweight, breathable and comfortable to wear. The brim is very wide and comes down low around your neck so it will hit the top of your shoulders sometimes, but it’s worth it for the extra sun protection. My head is usually a bit small for a S/M hat but this one fits snug, so it might run a bit smaller than expected.

This seems to be the last iteration of a hat that was made years ago (cannot recall the maker but not Dorfman Co.) Besides being a bit too small, the crown on this hat is WAY too tall. I had to take in almost an inch to lower the height. My head is not tiny but I do have to wear children's hat sizes. (I do not look like a Neanderthal person with a low forehead and not high crowned head.) You have to pull this hat down far down over your ears, too close to the eyes and that gets very uncomfortable in a few minutes. Well made hat and really nice for keeping the sun off your neck as the brim is a bit longer in the back compared to the front part of the brim. I love the fit /look of this hat once I fixed the crown.
