I need to make wire leaders for my hobby every few months. In the past I have "made-do" by squeezing the sleeves in my largest pair of vise grips or channel-lock pliers and often tried to add a nail or bolt into the mix to try and force the sleeve to conform to the cable and hold better.Part of the reason that I need to do this every few months is that the connections keep failing! When this happens during a competition everything comes to a halt while we fix the problem.I included a picture of what some of my old crimps used to look like (and by the way, this is the prettiest example - there are many others that look like they are going to fail from day one.NO MORE!I included a couple pictures of the newly crimped wire using this crimping tool - they look solid and I pulled on them very hard and they did not budge. And making them - instead of squeezing as had as I can with visegrips, these crimpers give you great leverage and make the process almost effortless.I wish that I had bought these several years ago and made my life easier!

It is well made, good for the price only down side is you can only crimp aluminum , and not copper or stainless steelor that's what they say any ways, but overall it is a well made , work right out of the box no adjusting ,
