My 1st gen Ender 3 has among it's many upgrades, a Fulament magnetic bed with textured PEI sheet. I thought I'd try this PEO/PET sheet for the decorative carbon fiber and diamond patterns. I have sheets like this for my Bambu Lab X1 Carbon, and it's a cool effect to have for certain prints.My Ender 3 is now relegated to small, low-volume, and backup print jobs but I thought it would be nice to have the capability for these finishes. Performance has been okay, but this sheet is really designed for newer printers, and has two extended tabs on one edge (which help with plate removal) plus two V-shaped notches cut out on the opposite edge. These don't really affect performance other than you have to be careful not to print something (including purge lines) that might go right up to the edge of the build plate on the edge with the notches. As long as you account for that. this plate is compatible with plain ol' Ender 3's.

This has quickly become my new favorite build plate due to the pattern/texture left on the first layer.it is more than just looks; it actually does give the bottom layer of the print a unique texture, which it quite pleasant to the touch as well.Both sides of the plate work equally well.The only word of warning for plates like these is that you need to use filaments that have good bed adhesion. Silk filaments or others that don't tend to stick without glue won't work well with these beds, as you cannot put glue down on decorative beds (it will mess up the pattern transfer to the first layer of the print).

After getting used to using my 3D printer I discovered I could start using different materials for build plates. So I started looking into the different options and I found this one with a different textures which I thought would be really nice for some certain prints that I wanted to make. This is pretty much the same as the one that came with my unit and as far as material goes in build quality. The thing that sets us apart is the specific design of the build plate itself allowing you to make some custom prints. I think this is at a fair price and it's pretty cool that you can change out and use both sides. I would definitely recommend this
