I had one of these before and absolutely love the fact that I can make a cup of tea in seconds. Works great and would definitely recommend product. Our last one lasted almost 10 years and was the same brand👍

Really nice addition to our sink setup. Now we have chilled, sparkling and boiling hot water all at our sink! The water is really really hot and it's designed with a pushbutton that's too hard for a young child to press and burn themselves. So it's really quite safe for young children.Water is more than hot enough for tea and even hot enough to blanch vegetables.Pretty easy to install, just a few hoses to hook up. It doesn't come with the tee/compression fitting you'll need to connect to your water supply. Understandable that they don't supply it because everybody's under sink setup would be different. Remember to get one before you start installing. One other point about people who are having a stuck button problem. It's easy to fix. Just flick the button up and down about 10 times. Press it down, let it snap back up, it will clear any scale buildup. Basically just bang it down, let it snap back to the off position, several times.

I had a prior version of this hot water tank that lasted about 7 to 8 years before the heater element went out on it. The replacement unit still has the same connector types; so, it was a plug and play experience for me since the dual dispensing faucet I have is still good. The only noticeable difference is that two of the main connection ports (inlet and outlet) are plastic on the new unit vs. stainless steel on the old one. The tank itself is still stainless steel, of course. So, far this new heater functions just like the old one did when it was new. Lord willing, it will last as long as that one did.As a side note; I bought an Amazon warehouse unit that was listed "like new"; it was nicely discounted and a worthwhile try. I was initially, assuming accidentally, shipped a unit that was not in the described condition. Amazon gave me the option to get a refund or replacement; I opted for a replacement unit and Amazon immediately shipped out a replacement that was indeed "like new"; it looked like the original box itself had been damaged and therefore the unit was sold through the warehouse; it literally appeared to have never been installed. So, kudos to Amazon warehouse for standing behind the transaction, shipping out the replacement before the old unit was returned. A+++

I've had this model now for nearly two years. It has a push button valve that started sticking a bit after a year, and not long after, the button would not come all the way up, leaving the water trickling at first, then just running freely. I had to shut the valve off under the sink. Obviously this is useless without a working valve. I finally took it apart, taking the faucet assembly out completely and dismantling. The button is not spring. It is a plastic cylinder that pushes a valve on the cold water supply, causing it to flow into the hot water tank, which then pushes the hot water up through the large rubber-like hose to the faucet. There is no way to actually get the push button cylinder out, but it has too much resistance. I wanted to file it down half a millimeter to have it move more freely, but couldn't get it out--seems to be held by a welded/glued part. So I washed it and worked it until it was better, then reinstalled. It worked again for about a week, now is sticking again.Bottom line: DO NOT BUY THIS MODEL. Get one WITHOUT a push button. It is a terrible, terrible design, a small plastic part that makes the whole product useless. Otherwise, love the hot water. I will try to just get a replacement faucet/stem of the same brand that uses the lever or turn handle and hopefully can make it work.

Excellent unit that works well. The size of the heating unit under the sink is reasonable and the water temperature can be adjusted by the dial. I was looking at other units by the manufacturer but realize the hot and cold units require additional filters and several units in the series ran literally hundreds of dollars more. I had the electrician install a utility box under the sink and drilled a hole in the base of the island and it really was not too complicated. It runs a standard electrical wire so no need for expensive higher gauge wiring. At the panel it connects to a regular breaker as well so again nothing too complicated. The electrician had it installed in about 40 mins. The unit mounts with 2 screws and that was it. I then had a plumber tap into the cold line with a T valve and connect to the tank. The flow design of the unit was a little confusing because the water flows from the T valve up to the tap and then back down to the heating unit and then back up to the tap again. I suspect that was the design for the cold water and added filter setup and that the design is the same for the tubing. The plumber had his part done in about 20-30 mins so again not too difficult. If your handy you may be able to do a lot of this yourself (minus opening your panel). I do not know why this unit was so cheap because it was new and not refurbished and works fantastic. Personally I like the button option as I think the other style with the lever may have the potential to be knocked by something on your counter that may lead to an accidental burn. Instructions were reasonable to follow and the tubing is snug to get through the counter. The clamp to fasten the spout to the counter (screw ring underneath) was a little awkward and was the hardest part of the entire installation really. I have had it up and running about a month now and it is completely silent in use or during standby.
