I love this gown, but it has an odor that bothers me. I am allergic to many smells like smoke, flowers, perfume, many detergents, etc. I have washed this gown 3 times with different detergents and softeners but when it dries, the bothersome smell remains. I'm not sure what to do. I want to wear this gown, and I have tried. However, within a few minutes, the smell is affecting my breathing. I tried vinegar in the wash but it was not helpful. Unfortunately, I may be forced to donate this gown to our local Thrift Store so that some lucky woman who doesn't have my problems will be able to wear and enjoy it. This should not be considered a negative review. It is just my own personal problem. The gown is lovely and soft. I wish I could tolerate wearing it.

This arrived quickly. The fabric is like a good quality cotton t-shirt and the sewing is well done with no loose threads. It's pretty and fits as expected. Shrank a very little bit after a wash and dry. I reccomend the nightgown as it's much nicer than anything I can find in my small town.

This nightie is very pretty and it fit the way I like it to, however, it does not feel like cotton as the label says. It may have 100% cotton in the material, but feels like it has other material combinations and it is a bit stretchy. It feels a bit rough or itchy and not soft like cotton should. Maybe it would soften up if I washed it, but not taking the chance, so I am disappointed that I have to return this one.
