I bought this to use for a backline that does that not have a twin reverb available. It sounds great (the same or even better than my own twin reverb) with the caveat that I only use a little of both trem and reverb for color. I will stick with the amp trem and reverb to save space on my board if I have the amp. This works great as an alternative when I don't have my amp or want to dial in the setting in advance of a gig. My only complaint is I would like a battery option. This takes an adapter only. I think this will be best used to add trem and reveb to an amp with an effects loop where i would just set it on the amp and use it like the dials on my twin reverb. A battery would be great though not necessary for that. Otherwise, it is a great sounding pedal and I could see it getting a permanent place on my board when i get tired of hauling the twin reverb around and trade the amp in for something lighter. It can do a lot more than I use it for as the other modes provide much "stronger/different" trem and reverb options.Edit-it’s back on my board. I just can’t rely on backline amps for term and reverb. The pedal sounds great live and is consistent.

If you want digital reverb, you’re going to have to pay for it. There are much better sounding options that are genuinely worth the price difference. This is one of those in between pedals. You are paying to have something that is not the cheaper option, for the sake of feeling like you are paying for something better without having to pay for the real thing. Get a boss trem and a mosky spring reverb (its just analog delay really) or get a strymon. This in between stuff is all just price tag games.

This is my third Keeley pedal, and they all perform flawlessly. The reverb side is easy to set and very usable. I love the plate setting, but the spring setting is phenomenal as well. The tremolo side is extremely versatile whether you want a light flutter, a deep wash, or a very good vibe. I usually use the harmonic tremolo setting and it is top shelf. If you have an amp with no reverb or tremolo, this is a must have. Even if your amp includes these effects, this pedal gives you very stable version of these effects without going crazy (like when you place a spring reverb amp too close to the wall). This pedal also uses a standard 9 volt and has a low current draw so powering it isn't a nightmare like some of the other verb-trem combo pedals. For a pedal with multiple effects of this quality, the price is reasonable. Also, I'm impressed that the quality of each individual effect is still there. It wasn't sacrificed in the name of versatility. It really does a lot very well for a standard bud box sized pedal. Buy it and enjoy as I have.

Without the ability to turn on/off one effect at a time, this thing is only usable for recording. Even for that neither sound is particularly good. I tried using the internal switches, and it DOES sound better in "modern" mode, but the reverb is pretty hollow and over-the-top sounding. The Trem/Vib is pretty good, but I'd steer clear of this underwhelming pedal. Spend the extra money on the Milkman.

So happy with this purchase. Already have reverb and tremolo pedals and was worried I might be making a redundant purchase. This unit sounds amazing. Versatile and practical. Get one, lots of sounds available that you didn't know you needed.
