Was easy to set up and gives plenty of light plus I like the way it looks on my desk.

I like the design of this lamp. You have different settings for brightness. The only problem that I have is when charging my android on the base of the lamp it will not charge , but when a I phone is placed on the base charger it will charge.

When a seven year old lamp finally failed the same item was no longer available. After looking at everything available on Amazon with the same features I chose this based on features and positive reviews. I was a bit hesitant based on the amount of space the base required. But it is bright enough I can place it farther away so the footprint is not an issue for me. The switches are very responsive and located properly. The time, date, and temp readout is easy to see. The option to toggle the display backlight is excellent. And the clock is keeping perfect time. I am delighted with this lamp.
