Pants seem to fit true to size. They are water resistant so there is a swishing when you walk. Wide elastic waistband seems comfy, pockets are just basic- phone keys not much else. A little longer than 7/8th on me and I am 5'10 so you might want to check the inseem if you are really looking for 7/8ths.

If you are looking for a lower-priced pant that is similar to the Brooklyn from Athleta, this is a great option. Very comfortable. They are slim, but not tight. They work well with a T-shirt for casual outings, and can be dressed up with a nice sweater or blouse.The zippered back pockets are big enough to hold most phones, and would certainly hold bank or hotel room cards.

I purchased the black pants in a size medium (5'6", 170lbs). I have a very athletic build and these pants are wonderful! They have an elastic waist that does NOT roll down and the fabric is very lightweight and flexible! They are very flattering and look professional enough for work! As an athletic trainer, I am constantly on the go, demonstrating exercises, and moving patients around. I'm excited that these pants are squat proof and allow me to move easily. They are super comfortable, I feel like I'm wearing sweatpants! I have not tested them in rain, but they did have a tag on them saying waterproof. They have a little bit of a swooshy sound between the thighs, but it's not very loud or distracting. I feel like after a few wears, the swooshing is not as bad. Oh and the front pockets are deep, the back pockets zip up and are big enough to fit the average iphone. Overall, I definitely recommend these pants if you are active or want something light weight and flexible!
