I wanted plastic specifically because I don’t want glass in the bathroom incase it falls. I put Listerine mouthwash in the carafe and within a few days there was a reaction to the plastic. It smelt and tasted like plastic, so I had to toss the Listerine I had in it. I’ve washed in multiple times and the plastic smell and white film within the bottle will not go away.Do not recommend if you’re using this for mouthwash.

very clear right out of the box the materials are the cheapest possible (the carafe, the glass and even the shipping package). only reason it's not gettin 1 star is you could use it if you really had to, but I wouldn't.

Isima es de plástico pero parece realmente vidrio y ya no hay peligro de que se me caiga y se me rompa como ha pasado con las otras cuando estoy haciendo ejercicio

This carafe is ideal for holding mouth wash. The acrylic is substantial and crystal clear; the style is classically simple. Since I have arthritis in my hands, I was particularly looking for a carafe with a long enough neck to grip easily, and this one fits the bill perfectly. I have it filled with 32 ounces of mouth wash and it is not heavy to lift nor does it take up a lot of room. The acrylic glass is a bit big, but it has a solid base and is lightweight. All in all, I am delighted with this problem solving purchase.

Yes, it's plastic, but it is of a nice weight, and looks good. I suspect it will need to be handwashed to prevent dishwasher etching, but it will work nicely in our guest room and get low usage. It's exactly what I wanted.

It literally looks like glass and cleans beautifully in the dishwasher. It’s tall so if you can’t lower your top rack you’ll need to hand wash. Easy to clean that way too. Weight is almost similar to glass so although acrylic you don’t get the cheap plastic feel at all in this product. Great wide mouth on the bottle and classic style for the glass.I bought two for guest rooms and will buy another for my own bedroom night stand.
