I bought these as I wanted to add some additional security to house perimeter. I didn't want the hassle of wiring something up so these seemed like a great idea being solar-powered. I know people complain about the remote not working inside the house, but you need line of sight to the sensor for it to work. Similar to other devices. The motion sensor is responsive....it picks up movement from a good distance, which makes it great for security. I set one up in my backyard and another near the garage, and both provide excellent coverage. The adjustable angles help direct the light exactly where you need it.The remote control is handy, especially if you want to switch between the three lighting modes without climbing up to the fixture. The motion-activated mode is my go-to since it saves power while still lighting up the area when needed. If you're installing these in a shaded area, keep in mind that direct sunlight is best for charging. I placed the solar panels where they get full sun during the day, and they last through the night. They’ve held up well in rain and snow so far.

These lights are great, comes with everything you need to mount them to the house, which was quick and easy to do.The remote control is helpful as well bc you can change the light modes without having to drag out the ladder. Lol.Lights are compact but bright and the motion sensor is peak awesome bc it’s sensitive

It works, gets power in cloudy days. Setting 2 seems to the most efficient. Let's see how long it lasts the Canadian spring. Happy with the purchase so far.Be aware it does not come with manual, just pictures. I turned on, on the light housing, then pressed setting 2. If you get within 10ft or 3M it lights up, and turns off after 10 seconds on stting 2.
