If you have some weight to the items you have in your bag, the strap will pull itself apart. The hooks on the ends of the straps are able to swivel and are held in place by a single washer to prevent the hook from coming apart. This same washer scratched my hand when i originally opened the package because the edge was not smoothed down and it was very sharp. While in line at TSA, and with a full bag, the first end of the strap came loose. I used the hand holds to finish getting through TSA and used the hook that was completely apart to attach the strap to the bag loop. I put the bag back on my shoulder and the other side immediately failed. I fixed the other side the same as the first. I don't see this being an issue anymore but if I didn't react quickly enough I could have had the items in my bag damaged. Material and look is nice.

I wrote a negative review of this shade but thanks to an Amazon Associate he helped with my order. I have to take back every thing I wrote and wait for my replacement to see just how good this product truly is. After receiving my replacement shade I found out that I jumped the gun. Everyone is going to have a product not meet their their own standards now and then. It is what they do when that happens, well I will say when I go to buy another roman shade they will be the ones I will buy from. I apologize for my haste and negative attitude. These blinds look really nice. The mechanism to lower is a little stiff, but once you start them to raise it’s automatic and they fold perfectly. We have a new house and have been installing lots of window coverings. These were by far the easiest.

The two brackets included are 100% reliant on a 1 cm long cheap spring. It's designed to be the spring that provides the outside "catch" on the plastic sliding part to hold the blind in place. A poor design from the start, the incredibly cheap spring and plastic "catch" make this a flimsy mount. If you can get it up. Our first one seemingly went up fine, but the catches are so small that after the third use it was down. The second one we could not mount because that cheesy spring isn't contained at all in the mechanism. Once it comes out it (and it will) you will need to search for it. And then it won't stay again. So. Save your time and go a different direction.
