Wait the whole winter to finally use this combo(Kindom Micro Monster Reel and the Marvillos Delicacy Rod) and after just the second cast the tip broke so disappointed and mad. Hope Amazon or the store will replace it.

responsive rods but are very fragile compared to my other rods would recommend for everyday use

I tried out both tips today . I paired it with a Dovellio BMC100 ,aka Soloking Brownie , with 10# Reaction Tackle 4 strand braid and fished a 3/16oz jerk bait and a 3/32 micro crank bait and while I could cast the jerk bait a country mile vs the crankbait , they were both pretty easy to hit my target . I was casting into a flooded but flowing slowly lake and was aiming for floating logs , plastic bottles , etc and both tips allowed me to come at least close to my targets . This was after an adjustment on my tossing motion when casting the crankbait to stop the pulling to my left error . I was consistently hitting targets 20+ yards with either lure .The retrieve part is where the tips went in different directions . The light tip let me get the action I sought but the ultra light one seemed either mushy or I would over compensate trying to get the right "flick" .I'll most likely stick with the light tip and keep the ultralight as a backup only .The rod felt fantastic in hand and cast like silk smooth . The short rod handle butt helped a bunch as I was wearing a heavy jacket and the long handle rods get up against the sleeve and it's harder for me to cast accurately . I used only pistol grip rods for decades so I still fall back to casting with 1 hand . To this day every time I try a 2 hand cast it either goes about 10' and runs out of steam or goes 15' at 800mph and makes a huge birdnest . This one is perfect for long casts with 1 arm tossing .The reel seat is also nice and holds everything in place .The guides on mine are all in line and small after the bottom one .The fact that it doesn't come all the way together at the seam I think is a good thing . I can depend on it not bottoming out when I switch tips . I have some that don't have that gap and over time they now bottom out so I have had to pull out the roll of "silver engineering compound" to keep the ends from not going sideways in a cast by putting a wrap around the area where the 2 parts meet . A Sharpie to make the colors match and presto my 20+year old rod works great . With this design setup that will never be a problem .This combo is going to be my go to for creek fishing now as the short butt is much more comfortable than the long one on my current shallow creeks setup .This rod is worth the money asked even if it only came with 1 tip .

The rod comes with two rod tips, one light and the other very light. The very light tip broke an inch and one half below the rod tip. Didn't hit anything, didn't over use it, it just broke off during a cast with a 3/32 oz lure. What gives??? This happened just short of 3 months after I bought it, and I've only used it on two 2 hour fishing trips from a boat, so I wasn't hitting branches or anything. UPDATE: I reported the broken tip to Mavllos, and they quickly sent me a complete replacement rod with both tips. Great customer service!!

The rod is fantastic. I have it paired with my shimano alderbaren. I absolutely love it. It also comes with extra tip. UL/L would recommend it to an angler on a budget!!!!
