I purchased this as a gift for my husband, he loves to collect coins. The size of the coin is about the same as his other coins, the detail is very nice, but it was the weight and quality of the material used that made me give this 4 stars. His other coins have more weight to them and feel like an actual coin. This coin feels a lot lighter and doesn’t give off that realistic vibe compared to others. But if that doesn’t bother you, then this is a perfect coin to add to your collection. We still like it, just wasn’t what we expected.

The design and casting of this high relief challenge coin is really impressive. It has a great weight to it and I plan to carry it in my pocket to remind me of my own mortality. It comes in a clear plastic capsule, and I plan to carry it that way. I own a lot of challenge coins, but this one is the only one I will be carrying from now on. A great and highly detailed challenge coin that is a work of art. This challenge coin is underpriced in my opinion.

Great looking coin. Comes in a plastic case. I display mine on my work desk, but to each their own. The engraving on the coin is clean and crisp, no burrs or odd shaped edges. Everything on the coin is legible. Often with cheaply made coins, the text will have many imperfections and smaller details will be smudged or formed incorrectly... that is not the case on this coin. I very much enjoy in the detail.

A nice weight and a nice gift that anyone can carry in pocket. Having a skull around to remember death was very popular until the Edwardian era.
