I used these at the top and bottom step on my deck in the hot summer temperatures of south Texas. They are holding up very well and although it isn't necessary for my application, the non-skid is still working after about a year.

I use this tape on things I don’t want to run into at night, like my bathroom door, bed posts, etc. Quality product that works well. This version has sand built into it so you could use it on steps, etc. where slipping might be an issue too. Anyway, I’ve been burned buying some glow in the dark tape on Amazon that did not work. Again, this stuff is high quality, glows well and they give you a lot of product. Highly recommended.

I used a different type of and brand glow in the dark tape for my porch stairs to help my Dad when he comes over...and the food delivery folks. My street is really dark and my front light isn't enough, I guess.Between weather and my gardeners, the old tape disappeared.Unfortunately, I couldn't remember which one I had bought and I bought this. I'm disappointed that it doesn't glow like the other one did. Now, that I found the old one, I'm re-ordering it.

The wideness of this tape is why I wanted to try this tape the most. I think you can actually use less tape if you apply wide strips where you step most often.Then when the tape got here I got to examine two other important qualities, the gripping factor and durability. The gripping power of this tape is wonderful and has immediately made my ramp safe again during rain and frosty mornings.The gritty coating does not seem to come off even after a decent amount of wear. I have used some tapes in the past where the "rough stuff" wears off pretty quickly or even starts to just pop off immediately and I have seen no signs of that yet with this tape.This tape is very thick and seems durable too - I have only used it for a few weeks so far, but it does not seem to be wearing down in any way as of yet.I will be curious to see how it looks after a full winter- that will be the final test, but I have had to re-apply tape like this before after harsh seasons, so perhaps they all suffer from such things. We will see how this one does.
