I’ve been using this for my field notes on construction sites for about a year. It’s been dropped in the dirt many times, in and out of pockets and is holding up great. The two zippers work flawlessly, it still holds notebooks very well.

Definitely odd size for being a "pocket" journal..Can't tell if I like it; first pic shows an actual pocket journal on the left, this journal in the middle, followed by a5 sized journal on the right.I sort of like the unique size, but it's oddly rectangular compared to the actual pocket journal that fits inside it.. Upper part just kinda feels like wasted space..I would probably keep it anyways, but the weirdest part for me is that this thing is VERY thick..I put a pic of this compared to the thickness of the pocket journals-- and this thing is even thicker than my regular 200-page journal...If they could adjust the size, like less rectangular and not so thick, I might reconsider...I love the a5 sized journals that are more hand-held, but was hoping to find something more the size of a passport holder to be more "concealable".. And this aint that...

I have purchased this item as a Christmas present for someone so I can't say anything else about it, but it does look very good and I'm sure the recipient will be happy with it.
