Fmouse Wireless Mouse, yellow/blackLikes - fun road yellow color, seems to wake up easily after sleeping itself, the dpi/speed option (I'm using it at school with a dual screen and I lose the cursor constantly - reducing dpi makes it a bit better), seamless set-up, modest size - not too little, not hugeDislikes - took A MONTH for delivery!!, plasticky feeling - hard, no cushioning, feels hollow/lightweight (not really a huge deal)There are lots of things I haven't really checked out, but I was just trying to quickly replace a wireless mouse that died - haha, joke's on me. I didn't expect to have to wait a month for it, especially from Amazon, but them's the breaks. I've used it a couple weeks, I think, and don't know how long it'll work before needing a new battery. Obviously, I don't know when it'll die - as all cordless mice seem to.

FMOUSE WIreless Mouse (Bluetooth & 2.4GHz USB) review. I got the yellow and black version. The mouse works well and seems well-built. I've been using it daily for over two weeks. The left right and center buttons on the top are quiet, but not silent. The forward and backward side keys are even quieter. The scroll wheel works well and has detents you can feel and hear as you scroll it. The button sound and feel is quite good for all buttons, and not loud enough to be obtrusive. The optical sensor works well on most surfaces, but not on clear glass or glossy clear plastic. The mouse glides on three black plastic pads glued to the bottom. The material is similar to nylon. The mouse size should be comfortable for all adult's hands, but might be a bit large for children under age 8.The mouse is best used right-handed. It will work fine left-handed, but the side buttons are not conveniently placed for left-handed use.The DPI selector button has an indicator that blinks once red for 800dpi, twice green for 1200dpi, 3 times blue for 1600dpi, and 4 times violet for 2400dpi. You can easily see what dpi you selected, even if you're color blind. Turn the mouse off before putting it in your laptop bag if you don't want the dpi setting to change when stuff bumps the dpi selector switch. The optical sensor uses a visible red LED with about a 620nm wavelength. When you switch to Bluetooth mode, a blue LED shines out the bottom for about 500mS. When you switch to USB a green LED on the bottom blinks twice about 250mS per blink. This is nice visual confirmation of the mode you have chosen. The power switch on the bottom side has a positive action, and won't generally get accidentally get switched on when it's tumbling around in your laptop bag or backpack. The switch to go between USB and Bluetooth also has a good positive action, and will resist accidental switching. The battery lid is easy to remove, but will not accidentally come off in your laptop bag. The compartment under the battery lid securely holds the USB receiver. The mouse seems quite well built and ready to survive normal laptop bag and office conditions.I tested both the USB and Bluetooth connection methods for several days each. Both work well, even as far as 15 feet from the USB or Bluetooth receiver. This mouse did not interfere with either of two other USB wireless mice I own.The bottom of the mouse says the mouse takes 20mA at 1.5Vdc. When first turned on, the current draw is 27mA for about 2 seconds, while the mouse boots up and connects to its data receiver. Then, the current is about 2.45mA when moving and about 0.18mA if you stop using it for about 5 seconds. If you stop using the mouse for about 30 minutes, it goes to a low power mode taking about 120 micro amps, but wakes up if you move it or press a button. After several hours of idle time, or if the USB or Bluetooth is turned off and on at the receiving PC, the mouse goes to an ultra-low power mode with a current draw too low for me to measure. Once in that mode, moving the mouse will not wake it up. But clicking any button, scrolling the scroll wheel, or switching either switch on the bottom wakes it up.This method of operation increases battery life, but it means that each time you turn on your computer you will generally have to turn on your mouse or press a button to wake it up; just moving the mouse won't activate it when you first turn on your PC.The battery contacts appear to be nickel-plated spring steel coil springs. They provide a secure connection to the battery and the spring tension keeps the battery from wiggling. These are better quality than the simple steel tabs used as contacts on many mice.I tested the mouse with an Alkaline AA battery at 1.54V and with a rechargeable Ni-MH AA battery with a voltage of 1.48V freshly charged and 1.27V when near dead. The mouse worked fine under all these voltage conditions. I recommend using Ni-MH batteries both to save money and because they don't leak corrosive acid when fully discharged.

Nice mouse.Colorful only problem is the Bluetooth only works a minute or so then quits and does not pair again. The wireless works like a charm.I am running Linux Mint Debian Edition and did a reinstall of the Bluetooth just in case that was the problem but it did not help.Am still using the mouse wirelessly and all is working fine so it wan't a total loss.
