I bought this because I wanted to add weight to my 8oz paddle. These are pretty good quality adhesive lead tapes at 3g a piece, which is perfect. It allows you to step up the weight and the adhesion actually still sticks if I move the position of the tape around the paddle as well. The tape design is subtle and won't stand out too much on a black edge guard. I would highly recommend these for ease of use!

Never having used led tape before this purchase I didn’t see the use or necessity in using it. But after using it for a while I realized how much more control and power it adds to my game! I love it because it comes already in perfectly weighted strips and you don’t have to worry about cutting it yourself, it is extremely easy to use and will help improve your game right away! 10/10 will buy again and recommend if you’ve never tried before!Also this tape holds up extremely well in very hot weather and I never had a problem of it falling off even after hours of play. Couldn’t be more perfect tape!

You would probably fine with regular lead tape but I like these because they match my paddle. You can also be really precise because you know exactly how much weight you’re adding to your paddle. Again, might be a little overkill, but it’s nice to have the option. The package comes with 10 strips. I figure as I improve I can add more to my paddle if needed. The adhesive on the tape is a double coated 3M adhesive so it’s not going to come off. The tape has a smooth rubbery coat which coordinates with the edge of my paddle.

I was going to add some photos, but the existing ones tell the tale. Sleek, black, aesthetically pleasing. It sticks on and blends in to the edge guard and looks like its factory installed.Lead tape/weights allows you to modify the feel, sweet spot and balance of your paddle. So its nice to fine tune and dial in what works for you. And if you use real Lead Tape, you should wash your hands and cover it over so you don't accidentally touch and absorb it. I presume the risk is minimal from absorbing by touch, but nonetheless - if I knowingly have lead, I want it covered.Surprise! This sleek product is made of aluminum No problem with fiddling and readjusting in the field. Perfect!Oh, and did I mention it really looks sweet on my NiCol paddle?
