I am new to the compound bow side of archery as of March. I have two (2) crossbows that are tack drivers, but I have little knowledge about compound bows, only what I have learned watching videos and reading articles online. Having said that, this rest does work. I bought it to replace a three (3) brush capture rest that I could not tune no matter what I tried. I had this drop away rest for two days and worked with it maybe 2 hours installing, shooting, adjusting, and shooting more. Now I am shooting bullet holes while paper tuning. Obviously, it is not something a pro would use. But it is very affordable for someone new to the game and experimenting with this and that. Mind you, when you purchase a $20 item, you usually get a $20 item. I do not know how durable it will be over time but long as it holds up there is no need for me to try another rest. I am pleased with this one. I did not cut the cord on the rest and I attached it to the downward cable on my bow to avoid any slack in the cord contacting the arrow’s vanes on release, as it may hanging from the upward cable. Mine did not come with printed instructions which was not a big deal for me, I learned how to install it from watching videos before I made the purchase. The only flaw I noticed, it is a bit difficult to adjust the rest to the right and more so to the left. Once you tighten the bolt that secures the rest to the bow it will not allow the clamp to open to slide the rest freely side to side. Once you loosen the slide screw you will need to tap the end of the slide to move it to the right. It may not be a good idea to tap on the left side of the rest (arrow containment limb) to make it go back to the left.Still, I give it 4 Stars.Do yourself a favor, with any drop away rest operated by a cord you may purchase, buy a Drop Away Arrow Rest Clamp Buckle to attach the rest’s cord to the bow cable. It is extremely easy to attach using a clamp and even easier to adjust by loosening a single screw and sliding the clamp one way or the other. My first time adding pictures to a review, I hope they come out okay and are helpful.

I dislike that I didn't get any thing that I could hook it to my bow cable. No instructions and just one bolt. It said I didn't need a bow press and that's not true. I hope I can find someone with one

Only complaint I had is that I had to go buy a couple of brass nocking rings to use since I dont have a bow press.Still tweaking it a little trying to get my arrows centered where I want them but it seems to work fine.

The design of this rest is good but my big complaint on it is the part that takes all the stress is plastic and it flexes when you draw the bow I even left slack in it so the fingers would not go completely up to try to prevent the flexing do to pulling to hard on and still had an issue if that one part was metal this rest would be great it functions like its suppose to but the flex makes it super in accurate to shot with
