I didn't want to pay too much as it was to replace one that I left behind in a venue carelessly. Paid more than I wanted but this one looked substantial, I didn't want to waste money on rubbish. I loaded a Shure SM57 on it and it stayed in place as shown. All the screw fittings seem firm and don't require excess force to get them to lock in place so you would not expect them to break. Personally I would have preferred a larger grip on the vertical stem and a wheel grip in place of the lever but these are minor quibbles. They work perfectly well. All in all very well constructed and the finish is attractive. While I've been creating this review the Shure mic in the position shown has not pulled the arm down at all and I didn't have to tighten the lever with much force. If you position the mic over one leg when extended, i.e. not in between two legs it's very stable. Very pleased so far.

Ligeramente más altos que los Hércules y más sencillos de reparar en un futuro, pero sinceramente los Hércules son mas robustos y de mejor calidad.

La base con el boom no encajan, pareciera que está barrida o la entrada del boom o la rosca de la vara de la base que tendría que encajar en él. Esto demuestra muy mala calidad, aunque aún así funciona, ya que se sobrepone el boom sobre la base y no se cae, solo no se ajusta.Lo probé en varias posiciones y la estabilidad decae en las posiciones más demandantes, pero en posiciones más estándar no tiene problema.Los entornillados no ajustan bien y se siente como si se fueran a barrer en cualquier momento, la verdad no creo que me dure mucho.Le daría dos estrellas por su mala calidad, pero al menos funciona. Definitivamente no lo volvería a comprar.

I only found one thing not to.my satisfaction and that was the ball and socket slipped even though I tightened as much as I could.Otherwise i couldn't fault

Cumple con lo indicado, solo que la parte del tripie en uno de ellos abre de mas y hace ladearce un poco al microfono

For $30, you get a great piece of equipment. I have no previous stands to compare to this one to, so my expectations were not high. Regardless of that, I can confidently say this stand is well made and quite sturdy. I'm using it to hold my Blue Yeti microphone so that I can record commentaries while gaming at the same time. The pop filter I bought separately from this purchase clamps on without any problems. Two cable clips are included, and they work nicely. They're made out of plastic, so don't force them open with too much pressure otherwise I'm sure they'd break. The stand stays on the desired angle, but I don't like how easily it sways on on the x-axis (left to right). It sits on my carpet and the tripod legs don't slip out of position easily, which is a positive.If you want a stand solely for the purpose of hands-free, static recording, then this is a great buy. It does its job well. The only downside is that you have to pay shipping at the cost of the stand itself. Other than that, there's really nothing to complain about. Recommended.
