The manufacturer's packaging was open on both ends. The angled mounts needed for my Dodge Caravan were missing, so I couldn't install them. I returned and ordered a replacement. If that is also missing the parts, I will return them and order a different brand.

Price is good and quality seems to be there as well. Very strong and lifts and holds the van's rear hatch securely.I liked the way they were packaged but a brief instruction note would have helped. I've only done this one or two other times and these were delivered strapped closed. Wasn't sure what would happen when I cut the strap. Go ahead and cut it. It just releases inside rod.
