The material isn't all that thick, but for the summer time, it'll be perfect. The zipper zips up smoothly. Even though I'm not wild about the elastic waist, they are comfortable enough for me to buy more.

These are great, and hubby really wanted to love them, but they're too big and baggy. And with the extra length, it's not a good look!

I got these in size small for my teenage son (13) and he likes them a lot. They are a tad big on him but by summer they should be fine as he’s constantly growing. They are sewn just fine upon inspection, have lots of well placed pockets and comfortable elastic at the waist. He likes the 100% cotton material as it’s not too thick but not too thin, in his words, “just right.” The belt is nylon and is just ok- it does the trick if it’s needed but my son will probably wear a different one of his own.All in all these are great for the price and I may snag another pair in a different color for my kiddo.

OK, I'm gonna be completely upfront… I am a female. But not often enough do I find 100% cotton pants on Amazon so when I saw them, I knew I had to take a chance. I am so glad I did! These are extremely comfortable… and on me they look like capris instead of shorts because I am very short myself. But I'm happy about that! I don't know how sold I am on the color and I'm wishing I had picked a different one, but that was my fault and I will still get a lot of use out of them. I literally have a hard time wearing anything but 100% cotton so I'm not gonna let these go to waste. I'm hoping they're gonna shrink a little in the dryer but even if they don't, I'll be OK. I love all the pockets too!

My first pair of these were a khaki pair, and they lasted about 4 years before they started to show signs of getting threadbare in spots. I ordered these and wanted an olive color, but as I should have expected the color is much darker than the pictures in the listing led on. The fit around the waist is fine; they seem to be a big more roomy in the legs which is okay, but I would have preferred something that was more fitted than baggy. I'll definitely be making use of the bands at the bottom of the leg openings (as long as they stay in, my last pair of these had ties that broke and weren't very useful before then.
