There is only 1 place in town that I can purchase bags for my older Kirby vacuum and it is across town. After searching online I found some on Amazon. I think the quality is better and the price is better too.

I’ve got a mid-80’s Kirby G5 that my grandmother purchased new, and was then passed onto me years later. Amazingly, this tank of a vacuum is still going strong and works amazingly well. I was happy to find these bags are still made to fit it when I ran out of my previous stockpile. They seem to filter dust and dirt well, and perform similar to the OEM micron magic bags. I often use these in my garage to vacuum my car, to clean up after projects, and sometimes in the house when I want a heavy duty clean that my Dyson stick vac can’t provide, and it’s done well filtering and holding various types and sizes of material. I’ve been happy with them and would purchase again.

These are great bags. They fit our Kirby Avalir 2 perfectly and it saves me having to pay way more than I'm willing to pay to buy them somewhere else. They're easy to put in, I've never had one that didn't fit or didn't seal right and they go right in. They hold a lot, too. I have a small zoo at my house and not only do they do great at holding up to what goes in the bag, but they've never split or broke on me, even when I've accidentally forgotten to change the bag out and gone past the fill mark.
