All 3 of these stick protectors broke within ten minutes ! One was broken in the bag before open, the next one broke while trying to take it off the stick. And the third broke before even getting it on to the stick

I bought these stick protectors because I have to tape the bottom of my stick all the time to keep from wearing out the coating over the lamanite on the very bottom of my stick.I've had to replace my sticks often because during the night of roller hockey the tape sometimes wears off and I don't notice it. Then the bottom of the stick gets worn through and the laminations separate thus making the stick junk.I put one of these on my new stick a couple of weeks ago and so far I think it's really good!I don't know if the protector helps or not but it seems that my shot has improved quite a bit.We use a hockey ball and we play on a roller rink wood floor.The protector seems to grip the ball when I shoot and it seems that my shot is more accurate.So do I recommend these for your stick... yes I do!For the money it's worth trying isn't it?I know that when my stick protector wears out, I'll be ordering a new one!

Pro Tip. You don't really need the zip ties. Fit the guard over blade, apply a bit of gentle heat from stove or heat gun to get a better fit. Apply ties tightly now at heel and middle if you wish. Start taping from toe to heel, cutting and removing ties as you come across them. Result.. just like normal ice stick. You can reheat whole blade a bit now and burnish with a puck.

It pretty hard to adjust to the blade and they should have made it a bit thicker. The tie wraps are very cheap. But we did naked them work on 3 different sticks and they hold up fine.
