Up until this wonderful little citrus peeler we thought the little orange plastic one of was pretty good. BUT...this peeler blows it away. So much sturdier, sharp and the other flat end goes great under the peel to help clean it up. My husband is the one that first complained about the "plastic one" so I went to search for something better and he said "you did good"!

The tool is strong sturdy. I put 3 slices in my orange, then use the side of tool. All the peeling comes right off

If you eat oranges this peeler is a must have. Makes peeling oranges without the mess.

You use the "pokey bit" on the backside to score the orange peel, then use the scoop to push down the peel. The smaller segments of peel you create, the easier it is to push down. The scoop is slightly serrated - like a grapefruit spoon, which helps get the peel off. I even used the scoop side to remove some residual pith without breaking in to the flesh. Can be a bit hard to clean but it really helps keep the orange peel out from under my fingernails.
