Love size and look of the pins. Have used in pocket books with charms hanging from it and as closure for cashmere wrap jackets so they do not slip off. Only one drawback is that the points were very dull. This can be fixed with nail file if foul.

Odd use: I needed to fix my bed remote organizer to split into two pockets. I used one of these in the middle. Now I can put both remotes in the bed's organizer pocket. (I could not buy a new one. This one is manufacturer attached.) Works great! Now I have several spare huge safety pins!

I have several covers for my pillows because I sometimes drool - ewww. With a satin top pillowcase the other cases have a tendency to slip off. I used regular safety pins to keep the cases in place. Unfortunately, those pins would pop open and I was concerned I'd poke my eye. So I got these pins to hold the cases in place and not have to be worried about getting stabbed.These pins are really large and worked exactly the way I expected. Be aware that these pins will poke permanent holes in your fabric. (FI took one star off for the permanent holes.) While it has a sharp end, I could not force the pin through four layers of fabric. Optimal is just two fabric layers. These pins were the answer to my problem. Another use might be on a kilt. I'm sure there are other uses I haven't thought of. Just keep in mind that the holes are permanent in high thread count fabric. If the fabric is a loose weave, the holes probably will not be a concern.
