d

Conexión a tierra adecuada

I bought this in April, I’m a licensed 12 volt technician, I installed this on my 03 Yukon to power 2 10” Boss Chaos subs, worked amazing for these months, earlier this week the amp was sending random feed to the speakers, while driving out of no where the back of the truck started to smoke, I pulled over and ripped out the amp. Took it home and found the nannodes on the amp blew and almost welded the inside.

So after doing some extensive research on Subs, Amps, RMS ratings, Max Watts, Brand Names, and Class D Monoblock amps, I shopped for an amp that "should" accomplish what I wanted and fell into my budget, and this amp fell right in line, so I took a chance.I'm a music producer (Hip-Hop and R&B), and I listen to all types of music extensively, (Mostly Hip-Hop, RnB, Jazz, Dub-Step, Funk, and Classical). My goal was to get an amp that would sufficiently power three 12 inch subs (3x 12 inch subs) that sounded great, but would also shake the ground, vibrate the bus stop windows I used 2 wait at when going to work....LOL..... get a head or 2 to turn my way from passers-by, and also be able to pop open my trunk and possibly have a little set in my neighborhood and just vibe to music on a nice summer day/night. But the top priority was I wanted the music to sound great, since that's my passion! On the the review!*Delivery/Looks/Install*:1. It came on time, brand-new box, brand-new smell, brand-new look.2. It looks great and sleek. It lights up blue. The "Anarchy" on the amp gives off this optical illusion blue shadow which is best seen in dim to dark lighting and looks very nice!3. My car audio enthusiast and hobbyist friend hooked this amp up for me using a KnuKonceptz 4 guage Amp Kit, which is good quality and he said he had no problems with install at all and from what I seen he ran into no problems.4. The built in Phase, Crossover, gain, bass boost, other dials and switches, and the addition of the bass knob that comes with it made tuning this amp very smooth and simple!(Make sure you or your installer knows how to tune the amp to get the best performance out of this thing)*Performance*:It looks good, installed easy, and UPS delivered it on time, but does the amp itself deliver?YES!!!!!!!1. I hadn't bought my subs yet (still in the choosing stage), so I asked my brother (who beats his subs so loud everybody in Downtown Cleveland can hear nothing but his bass) let me use one of his Rockford Fosgate Punch P2D4-12 subs.*At 4ohms the sub handles 400 Watts RMS and this amp "better had" pushed this sub with ease, and it did! With just this one sub and this amp I was turning heads and getting compliments on how good the bass sounded. During this initial 30 minute bass thumping.... I created a bass heavy hip hop playlist on my iPod (consisting of Jeezy, Kanye, Jay-Z, Future, Lil Wayne, T.I. etc.) The kicks kicked hard, and the bass lines sounded clean and crisp!2. After about 45 more minutes (in addition to the 30 minutes) the person who installed the amp told me to be careful and check the amp to make sure it wasn't overheating or getting hot..... He checked it and it was as cool as when he first touched it. He was totally shocked! I wasn't too shocked considering it was a class D amp, but I was satisfied that it performed so well! After about an hour of straight bass at 3/4 Volume on my head unit, and the bass knob that came with the amp half way, the bass knocked very hard, crisp, and clean, and the amp "I PROMISE" didn't get warm, let alone hot!3. The next day I unhooked the amp and asked my friend if I could try them on his 2 12 inch Kicker Comps. He's using the Kicker 10ZX350.4 350 watt RMS 4 channel to power his subs. They already hit hard, but when he hooked his speakers up to my amp those Subs HIT HARDER. He didn't even want to unhook the amp, I told him how much I paid and he was looking into getting one himself.4. My cousin has 1 Kicker Solo-Baric L7 Square Sub and he has a an old amp that beats the hell of the sub. I don't have the name or brand of the amp at the moment (will update) but this amp beats the hell out of that sub as well. We had to tune it a bit different than the settings that the amp were set at, but after he tuned it, that sub was kicking and punching and sending out deep basslines all over the place.5. So right now, I have an old 8-ohm Rockford Fosgate Punch 12 inch sub my brother had sitting in his attic. I have that sub in my car now and its doing great with this amp. When I finally decide on which 3 subs I'm gonna get, I'll update. But this amp has delivered more than I expected, was great for the price, and I would definitely recommend it for someone looking to get a nice Class D Monoblock amp.ALSO. *I went with a friend to buy a bandpass box for his 2 twelves and I seen this amp on display powering 3 very expensive 12inch Kenwood Subs. They sounded really good. And I paid considerably less here on Amazon for this amp than I would have had I got it from the store.REMEMBER to use RMS ratings, not the advertised max watts on the box and you won't be disappointed in buying this amp.Again, I WILL update when I get my 3 subs to note the specs and performance..... Until Next Time!

Since there are little images on the internet showing this product running and almost no images of the terminals, I'm going to put down what I got:In the package theres obviously the amp, the device (bear with me) to unscrew the side pieces, screws for mounting, two data cables, and a bass control remote. The bass control remote was something I didn't even realize this came with. When everything is connected, the blue logo on the top is illuminated and bottom portion of the top lights up with the words "Anarchy".Now to the features:I'm running two Alpine Type-r 10" at 500w rms and 1500w peak (SWR-1042). This amp fit perfectly to my subs. However, there are two fuses at 30a each, meaning I'm not quite sure if it will push what it says, but I believe it does. My subs pound. The screw terminals are the correct size, but I haven't seen anyone post (albeit one person) about the 12v and ground terminals. This is the one flaw.An amp potentially pushing 3000w should have at least a 0g wire connection, the the ring-screw terminals are made for an 8g wire. The reason I still gave it 5 stars is because this isn't a funtion issue, rather just another tedious task to connecting your subs. Myself, I had a 0g wire and the size was about half an inch too big to fit. I rigged it (not nessasary) and broke the a side off of each of the terminals for a bigger slot. Unfortunatley, this still was big enough because the metal ring wouldn't fit through the hole. To combat this, I filed it down to a size that fits. It took quite a bit of effort, but it worked. It does it's job once it fits.Another feature is the sides of the amp that must be taken off to fit a screwdriver into the holes. This makes it look pretty when everything is hooked up.Finally, don't do what I did.I (half-baked) wired the 12v and ground with only a little wiring. The screw fit in crooked and the wires didn't connect successfully. Not only this but I grounded it in a bad spot with duct tape. When I connected the negative battery, a spark arose and my fuse blew. Bought a new fuse the next day, and did it right.Conclusion.. If you need an amp with this much power, go for it. It's pretty, lights up, has a lot of power, takes up little space, has a remote bass knob, and is affordable.
