We've been using the same Pooch Pads since about 2017 and several since 2005. They're old and worn, and the seems are ripping but they still do a great job! We used the pads to line shipping crates when we moved from the UK to the DC area. When we landed, the Vet said he had never seen such clean dogs - a testament to the effectiveness of Pooch Pads.

I love the entire pooch pad line, from diapers to pee pads to crate pad COVERS.Never have I been able to find a large format pee pad, suitable for the vehicle, under an X-Pen, etc., until this.Indispensable if raising any sort of young animals, or keeping animals such as puppies, kittens, ducks, chickens, guinea pigs, rabbits, blind animals, incontinent animals... the list goes on. Ours are most often placed at the back door, for when we have to lock the doggie door, just in case, but we also have several domestic animals with special needs, and this offers an appropriate place to potty. We also rescue, rehab and provide for special needs fosters, both wild critters and domestic: these are literally life changing; no more disposable pee pads that never stay in place, get eaten, or otherwise messed with. All that is plus the expense of constantly replacing them and the environmental nightmare disposable peed pads are from the plastic, the internal gel, the top layer, ugh.Not only are these completely washable (cold water, spot clean with hydrogen peroxide/oxyclean, do not put in dryer), and reusable, they are heavy enough to stay put, even have velcro tabs you can use, and large enough, at 4x5 to cover a decent area.Ideal for animals recovering from surgery, suffering from incontinence, vomiting, diarrhea (not to be gross, but...) they protect everything from floors to carpets/rugs, couches/furniture to car interiors...Oh and guess what, also perfect for incontinent humans, be they kiddo's or adults, exactly the width of a Queen size bed, and easily covers the 'danger zone, without those horrid plastic, non breathing covers.Pricey, you bet. Now add up how many pee pads you use, multiply that by however long you may need them, see, these are actually the least expensive option, long term, and well worth the investment.Highly recommend.

Sehr saugfähig! Lässt die Feuchtigkeit nicht durch.Schön finde ich, dass sie nicht unangenehm riecht.Die Reinigung ist auch sehr unkompliziert: einfach in die Waschmaschine.

Our chihuahua puppy and our grown toy poodle both use these pads. It is really great for housebreaking because when we used the disposable training pads our puppy, if bored or just wanting attention, would literally shred them so I would have to put another one down making me buy more often or in larger quantities if I could find them. Now he just uses the pad and on occasion will actually burrow under it just to see what is or is not there. Our grown 4# toy poodle hates any pad but also hates the outside cold temps early in the morning. She could be made to use a disposable pad at 4am, because I certainly was not going to get my coat and bundle up to take her out to make sure predatory fowl do not get her for their breakfast, but with this pad she goes readily indoors. She still won't use any pad during the day but not having to make her use a disposable pad at 4am because she wants to use this one is a wonderful compromise. These pads do not leak and I got the bigger one since 2 dogs use it. I also purchased 3 as I had read about in other reviews and they were so right. One to use, one to wash, and one extra that I keep in our bedroom for our poodle's 4am potty break. I just toss it in the washer per instructions and then just let dry or use the air dry on my dryer. Do not use any type of softener as this takes was the absorbency of the pad. I have used these over and over and still have no issues and housebreaking has become very easy. This saves me money on finding better disposable pads, takes up less storage room and the dogs love using it which is the best reason of all. I also must mention that at first I was concerned about urine or poopy smell but so far I have not had any of those issues and even with 2 small dogs that go a lot. I also don't see the yellow spot where the dogs went like with disposables but over the day I can see a little darker spot where the puppy has gone to over and over which is good for housebreaking. The large pad is not so large that it won't fit in a smaller space and is in it's own way attractive, way better than those disposable, shreddable pads. I do love using these pads and have not regretted spending the money because I have now reached the point where I am saving money not spending it on disposable training pads. If you are like me and actually take pads with you when you visit friends these easily fold up and since it wicks the moisture away I have never had a leakage problem. So it you want to save money, time and space try this, you'll like it.
