So great for so many things! Group pic? No problem! Working in the kitchen or desk? Fantastic! I also use it in my living room & on my nightstand. Perfect for travelling too!

I purchased this phone mount so I could make video calls easier and keep my hands free.I chose the pale green shade simply because it was the cheapest but I was very pleased when it turned up; it's a beautiful light hue with a pearly shimmer.It's a rigid but bendy frame covered in a rubbery/silicone material and feels quite pleasant to me.I haven't used it during a call yet but my initial tests haven't been great. I'm not so certain that it will easily bend back to it's original shape without lots of bumps, which will annoy me. It is also a bit lightweight for bigger phones - I'm using a Samsung S24 Ultra and it toppled over quite easily. I think some manipulation of the frame will counter this, I will update the review if it does not.The main reason for this review, which I would not usually post without fully testing the mount out, is because I can't stand the smell of it! Nobody else seems to have mentioned this, even on the wider Web. I'm really surprised by this because I don't think my sense of smell is particularly strong but this thing has a strong sweet marzipan-plasticky scent that gives me a slight headache. I can't be within a few yards of the thing, hence the less than rigorous testing. I'm really hoping the smell will dissipate but it doesn't seem to have lessened any in the 12 days I've owned it.I'm prepared to accept I'm a big weirdo who is the only one who finds the mount stinky, but it's so strong, I'd be really surprised to be alone in this.I'm going to continue to air it out as much as I can (far away from me!) but I have a feeling that sickly sweet scent will linger and drive me to distraction everytime I attempt to use it.
