Purchased as a birthday gift for our great-nephew. He totally loves whacking the moles and giggles the entire time.

Very enjoyable game my kids enjoy. I even take time playing with them. The gang starts off slow and as you move through the levels, it increases the speed, grateful children ages five and up. I would recommend this to anyone looking to give their kids a little fun at home.

Package was in great shape. This awesome little game is great for any toddler or pre-school age child 3+. It has a few different modes and 38 different levels and it keeps their attention for quite awhile! The little pat hammers (2 included) are rubber and super soft so that no one gets hurt. There is an educational mode, a super mode and a lamp life mode. Lots of fun and great music, along with a noise level control. Also, 5 different language modes. Our littles loved playing with it and it really kept them engaged! Requires 3-AAA batteries (not included) but easy to install.

You need a screwdriver to put in the batteries- which is better for littles in my experience. The game comes with little suction cups on the back- so you can keep it in place as it takes a beating from the hammers I assume. I haven’t tested the strength of those suction cups with the littles but it’s a decent idea. the hammers are very soft- when someone gets thwacked it should only hurt their feelings not their bodies. The light up frogs are sensitive enough that you can use your fingers to push them- which may be a good mode of play for different situations. It also means you don’t have to hit them as hard with the hammers- which helps prevent accidental injury or training kiddos to just whale in things with all their might. The back of the box tells you how to setup and start a game but the machine itself doesn’t and it didn’t come with an instruction booklet. I’d rather a smal booklet to refer to than a chunk of cardboard. It’s still fairly simple- just randomly bushing buttons will get a game going- which makes this a truly independent toy. :) The rounds feel a little short- but that’s how they are in the arcades too. I guess shorter rounds are better than longer rounds with toddlers- you can always just do another one.
