My collection of CDs is quite massive, and I assume I have well over 300 CDs that I haven't listened to in a very long time.🤨 I thought this portable CD player by LEAPWELL would be a great way to play some of my favorite CDs of all time!!😃 The unit is compact and pleasant to look at. Operating the unit is easy enough to understand, and with the internal rechargeable battery, it can be taken almost anywhere you want to listen to some tunes. The battery charges in 3 hours and will provide approximately 4 to 5 hours of playtime, depending on how high the volume is set. The included remote is a convenience, but is not necessary if you want to play a CD straight through without jumping around to different tracks. The integral LCD screen is a nice touch and lets you know which track you're on and the play time remaining on the present track.😄 The sound quality of the built-in speakers is decent for what the player is. In my honest opinion, this CD player is more of an indoor unit that can reproduce good sound as long as the background noise is not too loud. The volume output of the unit is sufficient for a closed space, but it would not do well at a large gathering or a party in which voices would overpower the highest level of volume of the player. I decided the best location for this CD player was my office, where I could use it to play some great tracks as background noise to help me think or simply sit back and relax.😉 This player also has an FM tuner to play local stations. The reception is good with close music sources, but suffers from weak signal interference or static when trying to pull in somewhat distant stations. I ordered this CD player to listen to my CDs, and in that respect, it does a good job of letting me relive the pleasure that the CDs provided me in the past!! 🚩I rate this portable CD player a respectable 8 out of 10 (or 4 stars out of 5 in the Amazon rating scale). The chief reason this unit lost a star was solely related to the limited volume output available from this device. I recommend this CD player to anyone, like myself, who has a large collection of discs they would love to play!! The price point of this player is reasonable enough to justify its purchase as a CD player for an office, bedroom, or any other smaller room that doesn't have much background noise to affect the output of this player!!😊

The LEAPWELL Store's, Retro-phonograph CD Player has incorporated all the best features possible for playing CD music! First, the CD player is square, which immediately eliminates the worst problem of the round CD players, where the lid breaks at the weakest point, the plastic hinges. Problem solved as the lid is simply a dust cover, and can play open or closed! But that's not all! There are a number of ways to listen, including CD Play, Bluetooth, FM Radio, USB and my favorite, AUXILIARY speakers, that with a simple, 'male to male' chord, one can instantly, 'ramp-up' the very acceptable, power-boosted, built-in speakers -- to dance-level fun! And so much more to appreciate, for years of enjoyment with LEAPWELL's, RETRO CD player, which also comes with a handy, remote control! I love it and frankly, I do not see a down side in continuing to enjoy high quality, CD music for years to come.

I have a large quantity of CDs which I never listen to anymore because I don't have a convenient way to play them except in the car but I use my Iphone and Itunes almost everywhere so even the car doesn't matter. I ordered this little device to have something handy to play some of the CDs I have without going to a lot of trouble. This little CD player has a rechargeable battery built in so you can play it on the go and that was a big selling point for me and that aspect of this device was fine. My problem with this CD player is that it doesn't get very loud and would probably be difficult to play over a room with a lot of people in it. However, if you were simply listening to music by yourself or a couple of people I believe you would find this device convenient, portable and a great way to pull out some old CDs and play them. I am happy I ordered it and it solves a problem of playing CDs when I would like but I dropped a star because it can't be cranked up very loud. Just my opinion.
