I love the brightness of these light. They look really sharp! Only bad thing is. Is your not mechanical inclined they will be changeling, no matter how many YouTube videos you watch. That diagram thru sent is worthless. Remember that the yellow wire (ACC) is to be hooked up to low power as well like to your park lights. I didn't realize these lights needed two power sources. That what stumped me for a few hours. I didn't want to burn up anything! Also you will have to remove that plastic bumper to install them. Luckily I was replacing everything on my 2005 Chevy HD, Headlights, grill, etc! Good luck!

Look nice and are well made but they need a tighter beam to be good fog lights they are more of just flood lights and don’t really add any functionality.

Had a little trouble initially with the wiring because the item description was poorly written and failed to explain the sequential turn signal that is integrated into the fog but I eventually reached out to the seller and clarified the problem. So the back of each fog has 2 plugs, one of which plugs directly into the original fog light harness and will work like it should, but there’s a secondary plug that has a 3 pin on it. That plug is wired into (red)power/(black)ground/(yellow)signal wire from headlight harness. The directions explain what goes where but never mentions why or if you need to use that plug. It comes with so many installation harness bags that it really makes the whole process confusing because half go the stuff in the box you aren’t gonna use if you are just swapping out your old fogs. It never specifies that you have a sequential blinker inside the fogs and you have an option to use it or not. So youre sitting there scratching your head, looking at all these bags of extra wiring harnesses and hardware, the fogs are working like normal, and you’ve this extra mystery plug dangling there doing nothing, and you’re reading this single sheet of paper installation “manual” (lol not) that says to just wire it up somewhere in between but never says why. So now you know. They look great after the fact.

I have a 2005 1500 Chevy Silverado. It already had factory halogen fog lights. If you want to save about three hours on this install keep reading. Don’t take off the bumber. Lay on the ground under a shade tree and take a number ten socket and remove the two bolts on the top of the original fog lights. Throw the original fog lights in the trash can. Install the new fog light ( check for left or right first!) You will have two wire harnesses on each of the two new fog lights. Find your trucks original factory plug that attached to the original fog light and flip it opossite of how it originally hooked up. This will not stay on unless you use a zip tie to secure the plug. This is reversing the polarity. As for the remaining harness…..screw it. Don’t need it. Your factory oem fig switch will work these lights just as designed. AllThe other wire harness adapters, relay and fuse….you don’t need it.
