My mom was in wheelchair for 6 months because of her broken leg. She is 0 tolerance to bearing weight on her. When transported her up and down using lift up auto ladder between the medical assessable vehicles I was very scared that she might fall from the wheelchair. This straps can really simply and quickly provided some instant security brace that help her stay in her wheelchair during the machine working. Easy put it on and easy take it off. Very light and compact to keep in the bag with her. Very useful item that I must have when I taking my mom out for the doctor appointment.

It has definitely held my mama in the wheelchair in those times she nods of to sleep and kept her from falling out on the floor. She gas said she feels less fear in the chair niw

My mother seems to wiggle a lot in her wheelchair. Within no time at all she has managed to slide her butt forward in the chair and her spine is bent. I find myself thinking that it's only a matter of time before she slides right out of the chair!But now we use this soft restraint.So far it seems to be working. I credit the fact that it is very wide - nearly six inches - which prevents her from sliding. I will add that I did not place the belt as high up as pictured on the Seller's page. I placed it a bit lower, closer to her waist. That seems to prevent the sliding.This restrain is soft though I wouldn't use it too tightly as that can cause pressure wounds and, so far, she hasn't complained that it is uncomfortable or binding.

This wheelchair seatbeat is of nice quality and good workmanship. It secures my relative, plus added factor to have the zippered pocket. Great secure addition for wallet, phone and/or personal supplies for an outing.

Full disclosure. I did not buy it for the intended purpose. I used it as a seatbelt to secure my child to me while working on my computer - which it works well for. The belt itself is wide and has a good pocket. The bands are very large and will fit around a person and wheelchair easily.
