Living in the Northeastern part of the US, my Ring doorbell hates the cold weather and the need to remove the battery to charge it happens almost weekly or less. My neighbor has a version Ring less than mine and has the same issues with his battery. This isn't much of an issue in the warmer months as the power seems sufficient then. I haven't lost my screw yet, but have dropped it a few times and came close. My neighbor hasn't had a screw in his Rin doorbell for some time now. This kit is awesome with all of the replacement screws, and the other tools that all come in their own plastic case to help keep you from losing anything else. The torx set is perfect and small sized for Ring. I was hoping the flat head and philips head would be just as small but they are fairly large--too large for most battery cover screws or glasses screws. Too bad as this set would have been perfect. It has a nice carrying case too.

I ordered this replacement screw package for the Ring door bell series. I have the Ring 2 door bells that use the small security screws on the bottom. I need to charge these every now and then, and I know that I'll lose one of the screws eventually. Big fingers, tiny screws, little screwdriver.The clear plastic box that holds everything actually has a clasp that works well. Inside is a screwdriver handle that is easier to hold (for me) than the one that comes with the Ring units. Also 2 flip around screw driver bits with different style heads to match the screws that are also included. When inserted, they have a positive lock so they won't fall out. And, as a side note, I think I'll magnetize them due to such tiny screws are a challenge for me. Included is a little pry bar which I haven't needed yet.I tried one of the screws to see if indeed it fit my series of doorbell, and it does. It was much easier to twirl around this screwdriver than what I was previously was using. I also wanted this set because it includes screws for the newer models of Ring which, after a while, I may purchase. I give it a thumbs up!

We have had a Ring doorbell since they were first introduced and available for purchase. Although ours is hardwired, we have an issue with the power staying constant. Therefore, we frequently have to remove and fully charge the battery. As long as the proprietary Ring ”screwdriver” is not damaged, misplaced, or in our case accidentally thrown away; removal to charge is not a problem. With ours being thrown away, we ended up with a dead, useless doorbell. We couldn’t charge it or change it - nothing.This kit not only has the special screwdriver but replacement screws. In a matter of a couple of minutes I had the doorbell removed and charging. When I returned it to the wall I put new screws in and was pleased to see the doorbell was well seated and working properly again.
