It worked exactly as it should cutting a perfect hole in aluminum. It left no sharp edges which was great. No need to file. Good value for the money.

16mm chassis punchThe good.Made a nice round hole with a small burr in 1.3mm Alu sheet.The small burr was easy to remove with a file.The hole was close to size at 16.57mm.The price is very low. If you are a hobbyist on a budget these small sizes are great value.The less goodEven using a lot of oil it takes lots of force on the bolt for a small 16mm die to cut through a 1.3mm Alu sheet.Not sure this die would stand up with sheet steel or thicker Alu stock.I can understand why there are some reports of bolt failure with this sellers larger die sizes.Over all for my occasional use in thin Alu sheet it was a great purchase

Este producto es muy funcional para personas que no tienen un taladro en casa, tampoco requieres de una persona como profesional en mantenimiento en general de trabajos de hogar. Lo recomiendo 100% les comparto como quedo mi nuevo dispensador de jabón gracias a la tuerca de 34mm de diámetro.

Punched somewhere around 10 holes while wiping down the die surfaces (including thread) with a high pressure lube each hole. and started noticing the bolt getting difficult to turn. Managed to punch 10 or 12 holes and noticed the bolt thread was galling so I substituted with a higher grade bolt with the correct thread pitch and managed to punch 5 or 6 more holes before the thread in the cutter body stripped out completely.Maybe I got one with poor heat treating but I believe the punch cutter head thread was cut with a dull tap leading to bolt thread and cutter head failure. I only needed 6 more holes but the punch is useless now.
