Bought for daughter for hockey , they were a great fit true to size . With stand washing's well and provide the protection I am Looking for .

I prefer the pants but the shorts work well for hockey games too

I bought these for my 11 year old daughter. She wanted the compression style rather than the loose ones. Being a 5’0” child rather than a taller adult, the length of the shorts is a bit of an issue as the Velcro for the hockey socks to attach to is a little lower to her knees rather than higher on her thigh. She thought her socks were too baggy then. She using them still, just changed the normal fit of everything. Quality and fit is otherwise really great! I’ve bought this brand several times and they’ve always held up well. I’d recommend these, but might consider the loose fit or the youth size if buying for my 11 year old again just with consideration of the location of the Velcro to her shorter legs.
