This bag is incredible. I had many messenger bags before and they were fine, but this one is really top notch.The design is really sophisticated and sleek. The leather-like and preppy details make the bag feel casual and classy. Definitely business ready. I’m a graphic designer so I appreciate all the aesthetic details that went into this bag.This briefcase holds a ton of stuff, considering how sleek it looks from the outside. I put my Macbook Pro, charger and 1” thick planner in there with room to spare.The front pocket is great as well. On top of the medium sized inner pocket, it has 2 pen pockets and 3 card size pockets for business cards, or anything miscellaneous.The real reason I bought this bag was for the luggage strap on the back. I got back from a conference recently and took my previous messenger bag, and realized how complicated it was to lug multiple suitcases while my messenger had to be on my forearm or fall off my shoulder. I wanted a bag that was well-designed, affordable and convenient for my business travel. This bag checked all the boxes.Looking forward to using this bag everyday!

Really good value for Money.. only small issue is that if you add a notebook, the side pockets squeezes and accessibility to side pocket becomes an issue. Else would definitely recommend it to everyone

To be candid, I haven’t been exceptionally happy with most of the laptop bags that I’ve owned–at least until now. My most recent laptop bag, a Fossil Defender Small Messenger, is really intended for carrying an iPad. However, it was still large enough to house my HP Envy 13 notebook. Unfortunately, it lacked a carry handle (it only had a shoulder strap) and I found that rather inconvenient in moving the notebook and its peripherals from place to place in our home.The SOLO Southhampton 15.6" Laptop Slim Brief Black Briefcase has both carrying handles and a shoulder strap–exactly as the universe intended it. The shoulder strap is removable if you’d prefer to carry the briefcase by its handles. However, there was a question in my mind as to whether this attractive looking bag could house my notebook and the slew of peripherals that normally travel along with it.To find out, I grabbed my HP Envy 13 notebook and its peripherals and tried to get them all to fit in the briefcase. The notebook is smaller than the 15.6" size that the SOLO Southhampton Laptop Briefcase is designed to carry. Still, the notebook fit nicely in the protective pouch and didn't appear to slide around. The peripherals included the notebook's external power supply, a Kensington Orbit Wireless Trackball, an Oyen Digital U32 Shadow 1 TB portable hard drive, a Schiit Fulla DAC and a Belkin 10-key Numeric Pad. To my surprise, everything fit perfectly with room to spare. I was pleased.The SOLO Southhampton Briefcase supports dual zippers in the main inner compartment. I take that as a sign that the manufacturer cares enough about quality to invest the extra pennies in adding a second zipper. The briefcase is padded, however not as well as I would have preferred. No doubt it will offer some degree of protection, but I wouldn’t recommend tossing it across the room to your friend. (Not that you should ever do that with any laptop bag!)There is not a slew of pockets–in fact there are none. There is a front zippered pouch that has sections to hold your external hard drive, mouse, etc. My trackball was too large to fit into any of the sections (it did fit elsewhere in the briefcase,) but my hard drive and DAC fit just fine. Nothing on the Amazon page or in the manufacturer’s card attached to the briefcase suggested that the bag had any kind of leather (faux or real.) Therefore, I assume that the accents are not made of leather. They do like nice, however.I don’t care for the plaid pattern inside of the bag. Maybe it’s a “guy thing,” but, still, it is the inside of the bag and therefore won’t be seen when the bag is closed. It is not enough of a problem for me to cause me any issue with using the SOLO Southhampton 15.6" Laptop Slim Brief Black Briefcase.
