The design is faulty and the securing bolt does not have a wide enough diameter to prevent it from penetrating through the bottom and causing the shelf to fall. My glass shelves fell along with all of my glass. About $700 worth of damage, as you can see in the photos.

In building this bathroom in our apartment area, my wife requested a black & white theme, so these brackets worked out perfectly with the solid cast acrylic shelves I machined. They're well made, and are sturdy enough for the purpose I've intended them for.

I had used some different brackets on some shelves and they did not sustain the weight.These worked great.

These are modern and tasteful. Simple and efficient design. The only suggestion I have to improve the product is to add a rubber strip on the top and bottom to allow the clamping function to better secure the glass.

Unscrew the bracket, screw in the back part into your wall, slide bottom up over the back part and rescrew the whole bracket together sandwiching the glass. Make SURE you have it locked on. That's it! So easy and looks fantastic! I used 10"x48" glass.
