Did the job. Sturdy and hefty without breaking like other reviews said. I put a lot of force on these with a breaker bar trying to change rear breaks on a Jetta. Worked great.

If like me, you went and bought the Maximum triple square kit from Canadian Tire only to find yourself swearing at the VW engineers, then that was me... To remove the rear caliper carriers of my 2016 VW GTI, I needed a shorter socket, and this did the trick! A word of advice: apply lots of liquid wrench or PB Blaster and get yourself a 15" 3/8 breaker bar if you're doing this on jack stands, and be very patient. The longer 24" breaker bars are useless for the rear (you'll need that for the front 200nm torqued carrier bolts), and you have very little room to wrench.

First I would like to say that this is too thin to be an impact but it is a good triple square but for all you Audi and vw guys out there. I am a mechanic at the ford dealership and I occasionally find myself working on European cars. The 14 M triple square is a must have for me and works great especially for rear caliper bracket bolts. Again I would not put this on an impact. The metal is too thin and my 1500 break away torque would bust this too pieces. Pro tip, if any of you are doing a rear brake job on a vw or Audi, I really recommend replacing those bolts. Reusing them risks snapping the bolts in half and is a pain in the rear to get out. VW sells them for 5 bucks each. Just do it.
