I've had this stapler for over a decade and use it regularly. The top is plastic but the base is metal and has a bit of weight to it, which is why I gave it 5 stars. The design works well for stability and I've used different brands of staples without any issues.

I ordered the stapler and staples for a man who is struggling financially. This was on his wish list and I own the same stapler. It’s a dandy stapler and mine has lasted over 10 years.

Using my new stapler at work and it's working very well. So tired of using paper clips to keep my papers organized. Having a good stapler makes all the difference.
