The extra holes on each side is if you want to just make a card wallet with no bill slot.

Still working on 1st wallet from this pattern but beware they do not send directions. Its pretty simple to figure out but just so you know. May update review after I finish the wallet but in the left section of the pic is the cutouts from this one.

Absolutely not acrylic. Made of cardboard material. Stitch chisels do not fit in precut holes.
