Already had a testsubin, so ordering this set of cast iron tea cups was automatic. I prefer Lapsang Souchong but also drink Yunnan Black Tea and Green Tea on occasion. Only time I drink Oolong is at Chinese restaurants. These teacups match my testsubin as much as black iron can match other black iron from a different manufacturer. I received 4 cups. I have only pictured two. In most cases, I will only be drinking tea by myself or with one other person.Nice looking matching testsubin. If I didn't already own a testsubin, I would have considered purchasing one as well as a trivet that matched these cups, but I really cannot justify the additional expense at present.

OMG these are great! i especially like the larger size. it makes for a more respectable sake cup. The weight to them makes it where they don't tip over as easily. if your picky about the paint job, it did have some mishaps in the gold paint. but it doesn't bother me.

**Background:** so I have a similar one to these if not identical, but the 60 mil size I found at a local Asian store. The cast-iron feels great and it's super tense. You can preheat these with some warm water and whatever you pour in here tea or espresso. It stays nice and warm.**Build Quality:** To build quality on these are really nice. The outside glazing in the inside glazing looks great. There was a minor imperfection on one of mine, but the rest are great. I chose the light blue color, which is kind of like a teal it's got beautiful gold accents on the raised dots. These feel great in your hands. The little bumps keep it from slipping, but they aren't sharp. I really like the larger size. But note these hold 100 mils filled absolutely to the brim so for all practical purposes it can hold about 70 mils without spilling. These are all cast-iron and they're super heavy. I weighed all four and they're anywhere between 247 and 253 g. I did have one that was underweight 234 grams and that was also the one that had the glazing issue.**Conclusions:** These are great looking and feeling cups and I think the price is a great value. I paid more for a smaller version, locally at a reasonably priced local, large ethnic market. One issue is there was the glazing issue on one cup however I feel comfortable that the seller would likely resolve this issue. But since I am reviewing this as part of vine I like to limit my interaction with sellers and provided as honest review as possible. Also with vine there is no return or exchange supported as part of the program so I will give the seller the benefit of the doubt they would've taken care of this glazing issue on the one cup. These are nice, Beautiful cups and a value price.

These are surprisingly beautiful. I wasn't sure what to expect since they came through Amazon, but the castings are all perfect, and the glazed interiors are as well. No imperfections that I could detect. I've seen a fair amount of these while living in Japan and drinking tea, and I will say these are completely up to par. They look exactly as described and were packaged well for transit.

I fell in love with the intense color clarity and the interesting texture. I hope it wear well but I have never seen a cast iron teacup I loved so well for looks and to use. There are many Japanese teas that require cast iron to properly taste the full flavors. top notes and bottom notes. It also helps to keep the temperature stable as green teas at made with lower temperature water. Unless there is a catastrophic manufacturing defect these should last literally forever. I find them a perfect size in my hands, and if heavier than my ceramic Japaneses teacups I am anxious to try more and with different teas to taste the differences in these cups.
