I wound up putting these under my speaker amp. They didn't really do anything audible or measurable for my speakers. These are well made and neat, I just don't think they're great for "speaker isolation." Foam blocks already exist and work really well. Speaker placement probably matters the most, put bass traps where needed -- all in all, there are other things you can that will improve sound far more than these. I think these are great for devices that sit on top of a carpet or that you would like to give a bit of a rise to for one reason or another.

I thought this would help my vintage Hitachi turntable and the phono cartridge feedback issues I was dealing with. Well, these proved as useless and ineffective as ever - probably couldn't even attenuate the vibrations of a flatulent mouse. So I solved the issue by purchasing some used feet on eBay and some sorbothane pads on Amazon. Ended up costing me a lot more in the end because by the time I installed these, the return window had closed.....anyone want some paper weights?PS, the o-ring is undersized and so when lifting, the pieces will hold just long enough until about 1 inch off the surface at which time they will drop and spill the bearings all over the floor. This is by far the worst item I've bought on Amazon.....and I've bought a lot of junk......Like the title says, completely useless

I put these under my subwoofer, as that is probably the speaker that makes the most vibrations in my set up. I was previously using hockey pucks, and after switching to these, there is no real discernible difference to me. They do look nicer, and maybe they are doing something, but to me they do the same job as hockey pucks. They do have the benefit of being smaller. They also do feel well made, and I like the inclusion of the rubber pads as to not scratch anything. I will say that they did not include instructions, which were a little confusing, and the screws included only accommodate one screw size, so I was not able to put them in the feet holes of my sub, instead theyre just standing on them. I still recommend them because theyre doing their job, look nice, and are good quality, but they might not be necessary.

These are nice supports and are a great value. Yes, it can be a little tedious to get them set up without the ball bearings falling out and rolling away but here is a suggestion: turn the item upside down, install per instructions, then tape the top and bottom together along the sides with 2 small pieces of electrical tape.Turn the item right side up, adjust position as needed then remove tape. Voila!

My application is a Cerwin-Vega center channel speaker enclosure that sits atop a metal component rack. This enclosure receives around 100w RMS at full volume and frequencies down to 50Hz, so vibration is a concern and isolation is desirable. One aspect of this design that interested me is there are no feet to screw to the cabinet, no sticky adhesive pads to mar the finish. Also, I was curious about the ball bearing and o-ring design, so I decided to give it a try. Initial impressions are the machined construction feels solid in the hand and these are very pleasing aesthetically. You simply insert the bearings, gently push the two halves together, apply the thin no-slip rubber pads to the isolator surfaces, and place them into position. To test, I turned the amp up and pumped in electronic dance music with wide range of frequency content. Everything remained securely in place - no slippage. I observed no audible vibration coming from the rack and very little detectable vibration that could be felt on the metal rack surfaces. With the music going at full volume, if I touched the top half of the isolator, I could feel considerable vibration emanating from the enclosure. When I touched the bottom half of the isolator however, the vibration was effectively dissipated. Not even big kick drum thuds were getting through to the lower half. Given the sturdy construction, pleasing aesthetics, effectiveness, and very reasonable price, I am completely satisfied and give this clever device five stars.
