I should have read the description but I only read the title of the product, which said "cotton". It is not cotton. It is polyester. If there is any cotton in it, it is very little. I did the burn test and it mostly melted and barely took on the flame. It is VERY lightweight. Not what I wanted.

So much better than having to cut the strips for rugs . It speeds up the process.
