The title reads: "THXSILK Mulberry Silk Blanket" which was what I read first but its a mulberry silk FILLED blanket, which to be fair is also in the title "100% Pure Silk Filling Comforter".It was my own mistake thinking it was a silk exterior but its something called Lyocell, which I had never heard of.Onto the actual blanket itself.The lyocell fabric is very cool to the skin and has a silk-like texture, which is nice.I always run very hot, and even a light comforter usually bothers me unless my room is like an ice box. This blanket says its good for heat dissipation and, as I have a lot of experience working with silks, I dont doubt it, especially since the filling seems very minor, so much so that it almost feels like its just two sheets sewn together but there IS filling in there even if it doesnt seem like it.The stitching seems very well done, straight, and of decent to high quality. No loose threads, no broken stitches, nothing wrong on a pretty thorough inspection.All in all this blanket seems to be made well and the negative was really my own problem with not reading the title closer.With summer right around the corner, this couldnt have come at a better time. Its still relatively cool where I live, so the next month or two will really be the factor that determines if this lives up to its promises but it seems like it should.

Blanket is made of 100 percent mulberry silk. It has an ultra soft buttery feel and is a nice size and color. It's medium weight and has some substance to it but also light and easy to move around under- looks ideal for different seasons. It has a classic design, is easy to lay on a bed and is good quality. I like the softness and quality. Comes nicely wrapped with a bow and looks like a good value. Recommended if you want to treat yourself.
