Glad I purchased the chicken shredder that came with a third piece/ plate to make it easier to pull the chicken out after shredding. This is a feature that I didn't know I needed. Works fast and fits in my dishwasher.

It actually works! I thought, well it's $10 so if it doesn't work I'm not out too much. But it's so convenient! And all the pieces come apart to wash. Easy to use and very convenient.

I looked at these shredders for months debating over whether I needed another gadget when I could keep shredding with a fork. I'm like having good kitchen equipment but I don't like things that are just a gimmick, which is what I suspected this was. I WAS SO WRONG. I could never achieve the uniform shredding that this device produced in a matter of seconds. It shreds a big chicken breast in just a couple rotations.The way that it is designed, once it's shredded it all comes out completely so quickly and the process is so fast.Easy to use, easy to clean. Sturdy. Good quality.Now I actually search for recipes that use shredded meat so that I can use it. Get one.

I used this to shred chicken breasts and they came out perfectly. All pieces were evenly shredded. For such simple item, it did an excellent job!
