En 1985, un joven adolescente de Ahmedabad fue seleccionado para representar a India en el campeonato mundial de patinaje de velocidad en pista bancaria en Colorado Sprints USA, el rendimiento del equipo en ese momento fue bastante humilde. Después de un cuidadoso análisis, descubrió los principales elementos necesarios para un alto rendimiento; faltaban capacitación, equipos e infraestructura en el país, sentando así las bases de lo que Triumph es hoy. Se inició una misión en solitario para cambiar el escenario deportivo en el país. La empresa entonces llamada Biopace se formó en 1986 comenzó a importar y distribuir productos de skate de alta calidad al mercado, se inició una academia de entrenamiento "Escuela Nacional de patinaje" para crear un programa nacional de entrenamiento competitivo para el deporte del patinaje que fomenta la creación de equipos, clubes y competiciones en todo el país.

Initially I was a bit put off by the mixed reviews covering several years but took a chance. A *QUALITY* set and *SUPER VALUE*! After reviewing a variety of 'sets' and vendors on Amazon, even though some use the terminology 'regulation' (size and material) there really appears to be no regulation. The balance, weight and surface of the balls is super. Although there are numerous negative comments regarding the bag, the boxy, rectangular one with strap handles that I received seemed quite strong and durable although, frankly, because of the 16 lb+ weight of the equipment may create a bit of a challenge down the road. The design and stitching are good and the material is a heavy synthetic material similar to our awnings. The balls, while really comfortable for this 70-something 'ole geezer, seem a bit larger than those we saw in the French communities, but are super playable for all. The simplicity, yet challenge, of the game, somewhat like pool or billiards with their English, is A WHALE OF A LOT OF FUN FOR ALL . . . AND ALMOST ADDICTIVE ! ! ! Now, I gotta' get a set for my son-in-law and grandsons.

I purchased this set for my family beach trip a few years back. We have continued to use this set on trips. It is sturdy, and the balls have weight to them, which is great for a windy beach day. Awesome set!
