The Tzone Temperature Humidity Data Logger is an impressive device for monitoring environmental conditions. Its digital display is clear and easy to read, providing real-time data on temperature and humidity levels. The USB connectivity allows for seamless data transfer, making it convenient to analyze the recorded information. With the capacity to store up to 34,560 data groups, it ensures comprehensive logging over extended periods. The included probe enhances its accuracy, especially in industrial settings where precise measurements are crucial. Generating reports in both PDF and CSV formats is straightforward, facilitating easy sharing and documentation. This logger is particularly useful for monitoring conditions in freezers and refrigerators, ensuring that items are stored under optimal conditions. The build quality feels robust and durable, suitable for demanding environments. Its user-friendly interface makes it accessible even for those who are not tech-savvy. Overall, this device is a reliable and efficient tool for anyone needing to track temperature and humidity accurately.

I'm using this to monitor the conditions in a lumber drying box I built. It's just a big sealed box with a small dehumidifier in it that I can use to dry lumber after I cut it. It's pretty rainy and cool in my area, and I've had problems with mold and I'm hoping this setup will do better. This is the first run, my goal is to get an idea of how long it takes to get things dry depending on the temperature, and to know if I need to add another fan or a little heat or whatnot to the system. It's pretty easy to set up, just poke the probe to wherever you want to measure. I'd have preferred not to have to install their software, but I just use it on an old laptop to grab CSV's to use on another machine. The software is pretty straightforward and I was easily able to get what I want. It's a decently built tool, not super industrial but I just put it in a box for safekeeping since I'm moving lumber around. I'm getting good numbers so far (they match up to what I'm measuring with hand tools) so it's doing what I need.

I'm really quite impressed with how simple it is to get data out of this unit. Just plug it into a computer, wait for the light to stop flashing, and you have CSV and PDF files ready to go. These files contain a full printout of each measurement recorded, as well as min/max/average readings, and how many times temperature and humidity fell outside of the alarm conditions set. The PDF also contains line charts, and highlights each alarmed reading in red.Starting and stopping logging is also easy. Just press the start button to wake the unit, then press and hold it to start recording. To stop, you press and hold the stop button. Or, you can set start/stop timers for some automation. Short pressing the start button cycles the screen through current readings, min/max/avg, and other data.Unfortunately, you do need the PC software to change any settings, like recording interval. It's pretty intuitive and works well, and offers some other data export features. I do wish you could do without the program, but it does at least prevent somebody from inadvertently or maliciously changing settings.Build quality is on the cheap side. The plastic case feels pretty sturdy, but the plastic cover over the screen and buttons feels flimsy. The whole unit doesn't feel especially fragile, just not super nice. Annoyingly, the magnet had come off the bracket in the box and I had to glue it back on.I really wish the temp/humidity probe could be disconnected from the data logging unit. As is, you have to unthread the cable from wherever you have the probe located when you want to pull data off. This may or may not be an issue, depending on how you're planning to use it.It's not a bad little unit, and certainly easy to use. For the price, I wish it were built just a touch better and the probe was detachable.

Seems like a perfect tool for my purpose BUT for the documentation and user interface. The factory defaults - interval setting and hi/low alarm settings - cannot be changed without plugging in to a computer. The 'Management Software' site won't download to my Windows 10 - it either won't allow it or it is not there to download. Not being a computer scientist, I just have to take it for what it is unless some service tech walks me through it. If it worked out of the box I certainly would give it 5 stars. It gives nice reports and is accurate.
