Worked to bypass the SOS module and get my radio working again on a 2005 w211 e320 cdi. Also works to diagnose bad modules in the fiber optic network one at a time.

Perfect fit for my 2008 Mercedes E350 (w211). DVD Nav was not working and later determined to be the cause of a battery drain (car will go dead after 3 days without driving). However, by unplugging the Nav, the radio will not work. Now with this Fiberoptic loop, I can just attach the loop and disconnect the Nav altogether. Radio works and no more battery drain. Lifesaver!

Fixed the radio! Radio stopped working and I was stuck with the Mercedes-Benz logo loop, turns out my in car phone module stopped working and I was able to by pass it by using female adapterVery happy to have my radio fully functioning again!
